As a stupid common Indian cricket fan, its difficult to digest consecutive loss by innings and 7th consecutive loss abroad. Its easy and common to blame our team . But when you do the retrospect, its clear that discipline is the winner. Sehwag was out 3 times for a awesome out-swinger Just-Out-Side-Off-stump from Hilfenhas, Siddle. I felt nobody can do anything for such a beauty. Not only hilfenhas, every australian bowler has bowled with unimaginable line & length, probably their domestic format might have taught them. Usually Indians lack discipline, so are our team. I clearly see the difference is the disciplined bowling from aussies. Howmany of our bowlers can consistently bowl owt-singers just outside offstump with 140+ kmph speed. This is the only thing aussie bowler stuck to. Pattinson has played 4 test matches but he sticks to basics and he knows where to bowl and wickets fall automatically. Thats not the case with indian blowlers, they get selected based on their past glory, instead of current form. Take Ishant sharma, he had bowled amazing deep in-swingers last time in australia, and he got Ponting many times. But this time, he doesn't swing much, he doesn't follow line & length. Take Zaheer, he hardly crosses 130kmph, howmuch ever he swings, batsmen have the time to see the path. Umesh yadav got some wickets as he managed to bowl consistently 145kmph and some awesome outswingers.

Our batsmen except Dravid have very bad record abroad. If they fail abroad, immediate they score runs on Dead Indian pitches against West-Indies or some minnows. if they score a hundred, their place is safe for 5 test matches. We dont follow rotaton policy, if don't do that how can we test youngsters. Despite scoring tons of runs with an average of 68, Rahane has to wait till Dravid, Sachin, Laxman retires. There was a guy called Dheeraj Jadhav who was consistently performing in during 2003,04. He was taken in Test squad, but never in final XI. And  again he was dropped for no reason. Without giving a chance, how can we drop a player. There was one more player called Gagan Khoda. He played 2 ODIs for India, he scored 115 runs with best score of 89. I did not see any reason why he was dropped. Still his ODI figures say he has 57.5 average. There is no logic in team selection. They randomly pick someone and drop them without giving a single chance. Selectors have to justify their selection showing some figures. The new players should be given atleast 5 ODIS or 4 test matches before taking call on them. But our selectors justify their name "bunch of jokers" by their illogical selection.

Many people blame BCCI for their money-minded philosophy. Before blaming them, we should think what we do. BCCI is a private company which runs within rules another private organization called ICC. Their main objective is to spread cricket and earn money. As we have only one body governing cricket, they attach nationalism to cricket team, we feel emotional about it. Whenever Indian(BCCI) Cricket Team wins, every publicizes it as Country's win. This is all publicity stunt. This earns fame to cricketers and make them stars. So companies queue infront of there cricketers's houses and BCCI for ads. Its lot of money! So fans should leave their madness, see cricket as another sport. Don't feel so emotional as BCCI and today's advertizing agencies use this emotions as commodity to earn money. In a match, there are only 10 wickets possible to take and 300 boundaries possible to hit, so obviously batsmen are the main entertainers. Entertainment earns money, this may be the reason why BCCI dont concentrate of making pace pitches in India. This is effecting our batsmen and bowler. So they are failing on pace pitches abroad. Atleast now, BCCI should do retrospect to save Indian Cricket.

Im expecting Rahane, Rohit, Mithun to play in 4th test instead of Sehwag & Laxman & Ishant. Otherwise we have to think that they have gone for foreign trip to enjoy. Sometimes, this kind of losses is good for everyone. Our players will be brought down to earth. Fans like me will stop watching cricket for sometime and concentrate on their personal work, instead wasting an hour to write this blog ;)
